According to Fightful Select, former TNA Wrestling executive Scott D’Amore was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida last week and was given a tour. At the moment, there is nothing to suggest that this will be going anywhere, as the two sides were said to only have “informal conversations”. D’Amore was released from TNA earlier this year and has since relaunched Maple Leave Pro Wrestling in Canada.

It’s rather good. Check out what D’Amore got to see at the Performance Center:

Opinion: I’m not sure if D’Amore is going to sign with WWE or work with them in any way, but just having him around is an interesting proposition. D’Amore has shown that he has a lot of value as a coach or mentor of some kind and WWE would certainly benefit from having him around. That being said, there is always the chance that D’Amore isn’t interested in coming into the promotion, so now we’ll just have to wait and see where it goes from here.

What do you think of the situation? How could D’Amore be used in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
