Him? Rhea Ripley Teases John Cena Joining The Judgment Day

Yeah that would be a surprise. Stables are a simple concept that can do a lot of good things in the wrestling world. At the very least, they allow a bunch of wrestlers to get television time at once rather than having to share time over the course of a show. They can also lead to some surprise moments, and now a big time WWE star is having some fun at the idea of another huge change.

The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest won the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match earlier this month. Following the win, Priest posed for a photo backstage with stablemate Rhea Ripley and John Cena, who made a surprise appearance at the show. The WWE Deutschland Twitter account suggested that Cena could join the team, with Ripley replying that “you’d never see that coming”.

Opinion: While I can’t imagine Cena actually joining Judgment Day as he is barely around anymore, it is cool to see him giving something of an endorsement like that. Cena is a legend in his own time and someone who is going to get attention no matter what he is doing. Giving some of that attention to the current stars of today is a good thing and it seems to be working here.
