Him? Interesting Name Emerges As Early Favorite For Men’s Royal Rumble Match

That would be big. We are closing in on the start of the new year and that means a lot of things are starting up for WWE. One of the biggest is the Road To WrestleMania, which will include some other things kicking off. Perhaps the most important of these events is the Royal Rumble, and now there is something of a surprising name is emerging as a favorite for the show’s namesake match.

According to Betonline.ag by way of Cagesideseats.com, John Cena is the early favorite to win the men’s Royal Rumble match. Cena is set to return to WWE for his retirement tour in 2025 and has been confirmed to be in action at the Royal Rumble. The next favorites are, in descending order:

CM Punk
The Rock
Roman Reigns
Gunther
Seth Rollins

The winner of the match will receive a WWE World Title shot at WrestleMania 41 on April 19 or 20.

Opinion: Cena winning the Royal Rumble would set him up for the potential all time record breaking World Title win at WrestleMania. I’m not sure if that is where we are going but WWE certainly has a lot of options for what will be Cena’s final WrestleMania match. That can be set up at the Royal Rumble and likely will be, even if Cena doesn’t win the big match itself.
