Him? CM Punk Reveals Interesting Reason For Wanting To Face Damian Priest

Someone in mind. WWE has quite the deep roster at the moment, with all kinds of wrestling stars from around the world. These wrestlers have quite the range of ages as well, with some wrestlers having been around for a very long time while others are still new on this stage. It can be interesting to see those generations clash and now one legend has his eyes set on someone in particular.

WWE’s CM Punk was recently interviewed by The Hot Tag where he was asked about the current WWE roster. When asked who he wanted to face in particular, Punk chose Damian Priest, saying he wanted to face Priest at Madison Square Garden. This comes after Priest was scheduled to wrestle his first match at the venue but was forced to pull out due to travel issues. Punk said he had a “loose promise” that the two of them would main event at the Garden, though he also said he would like to face “everybody” on the roster. WWE is scheduled to return to Madison Square Garden just after Christmas later this year.

Opinion: That is an interesting pick, though Punk’s promise to Priest is a rather nice thing to hear. Ultimately I’m not sure I can imagine the two of them headlining the venue, but it easy to imagine them working together in some way. The Garden is the mother of all locations for WWE and it is nice to see wrestlers wanting to work there so badly, given its long history.
