He's On It: Ricochet Comments On Botched Spot From SmackDown

It happens to everyone. Wrestlers who are able to make it to national television are among the most talented stars in the world. These are the ones who have worked hard and long to make it here and often have some of the best coaching in the world. That does not mean they are perfect though and a notable mistake took place this week. Now one of the people involved has something to say.

Last week on SmackDown, Ricochet and Braun Strowman defeated the Viking Raiders in a tag team match. During the match, Strowman attempted to throw Ricochet at Ivar but something went wrong, leaving Ricochet to crash in front of Ivar instead. Ricochet has since commented on the mistake, saying of Strowman “Y’all know he was just throwing me.” Strowman and Ricochet have teamed together for several months, including in a losing effort at WrestleMania 39.

Opinion: This is one of those things that happens every so often as the people involved might not be on the same page. In this case, Ivar might have been out of place as he tried to run back to catch Ricochet in time. What matters the most is that Ricochet wasn’t hurt and the mistake didn’t mess up the match, though it is one of those things that is going to wind up on some highlight reels for all the wrong reasons.
