Last minute change. There are all kinds of matches presented on a regular basis in any given week. You never know when you are going to see a unique situation take place, though there are times when those situations are behind the scenes. That appears to have been the case recently, as a match did not take place due to the way things went away from the camera.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the October 25 (airing on October 27) edition of AEW Rampage was originally scheduled to include a match between Metalik and Komander. The plan for the match called for Komander to go over but Metalik refused to lose and the match was canceled as a result. According to Fightful Select, the match was planned to be a three way also involving Penta El Zero Miedo with the match being canceled for the same reason

Opinion: That’s not something you hear about very often and hopefully AEW manages to figure things out with Metalik before it happens again. I’m not sure how well it is going to go to have Metalik refusing to lose so soon into his time with AEW but apparently Aew was willing to go along with him. He’s a talented star, but that is only going to go so far if he has backstage issues.
