He's Not Great: AEW's Bryan Danielson Reportedly Banged Up, Wrestling Lighter Schedule

He’s having some issues. Wrestling is a very physical sport and there is little way to prevent that from happening. This is the kind of thing that can cause all kinds of injuries and instances of wrestlers getting banged up, Occasionally it is going to result in wrestlers having to get through some serious problems, and now we know it about one of the bigger names in wrestling today.

According to Fightful Select, AEW’s Bryan Danielson is working hurt, which has resulted in him wrestling a limited in-ring schedule. This caused some spots in Anarchy In The Arena at Double Or Nothing to be cut, as Danielson was unable to do them. The match was Danielson’s first since Revolution on March 5, though Danielson is expected to face Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door this Sunday.

Opinion: It isn’t the biggest surprise that Danielson is banged up, as he has a history of being injured and wrestles one of the most physical styles in wrestling today. It is good to hear that he is able to get in the ring this weekend, but it might be awhile before he gets back in the ring again. At the same time, it is nice to see him taking care of himself and letting things heal up, which is what matters most.
