He’s almost here. WWE is currently in a time of change as several former stars are returning to the company after being released over the last few years. That has opened up several different doors, some of which have led to a few very interesting moments. It means something when someone makes their return, and now we might be in for another such instance.
According to PWInsider.com, former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is returning to WWE and might be back as soon as next week’s Monday Night Raw. Strowman was released from WWE in June 2021 as part of a series of budget cuts. Since then, Strowman has appeared for Ring of Honor and Control Your Narrative, though he has only wrestled six times this year, most recently on July 17.
Opinion: This is the kind of return that can make an instant impact. Strowman is a monster who can be slotted straight into the main event scene if he needs to, especially as a former World Champion. I’m not sure what he is going to be doing, but WWE continuing to bring in former names is a good idea, especially after having so many people let go in recent years.
