There’s his new target. There have been a lot of fresh stories taking place as of late on Monday Night Raw and some of them involve names you have not seen lately. That can open up a lot of new doors and in some cases, offer some interesting new ways to go. It seems to be the case again with a returning star, and now we know who he has targeted first.

Over the last few weeks, former NXT star Dexter Lumis has appeared multiple times, with security taking him away each week. Lumis has occasionally been mentioned by name, with Corey Graves identifying him on his first night. This week on Monday Night Raw, Lumis kidnapped the Miz during a tag match and carried him out of the arena while choking him. Lumis’ face was shown in full, with commentary identifying him by name and saying Lumis did not work for WWE. This was the last mention of Miz throughout the show.

Opinion: That’s certainly a step forward and now we get to find out what Lumis wants to do next. Lumis did this before to Theory down in NXT so maybe things are being rehashed a bit. If nothing else, it is nice to see the story taking a direction, as Lumis had yet to actually do anything specific so far. This should open up some doors and I’m curious to see what is on the other side.

What do you think of Lumis’ angle? Where do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
