Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi is currently a free agent, after leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling earlier this year. During an interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ibushi revealed that he has received an offer to return to New Japan Pro Wrestling. While Ibushi did not say if he would be accepting the offer, he did say he views All Elite Wrestling as his top priority. Ibushi wrestled his first matches in nearly a year and a half over WrestleMania weekend for GCW following a shoulder injury.

Ibushi is a heck of a star. Check out what he could bring to AEW:

Opinion: In short, if AEW can land Ibushi, they would be crazy not to do so. Ibushi is one of the most talented stars in the world and someone who could make an impact for the company. If nothing else, he already has a longstanding relationship with Kenny Omega so reuniting them would certainly be a good idea. Seeing Ibushi in AEW would not be a surprise whatsoever and we very well may be seeing it soon.

What do you think of Ibushi? How would he fare in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
