He has an idea. There are all kinds of talented stars on the AEW roster and it can be difficult for any of them to stand out. It can be a lot easier if someone has the right people behind them, as it gives them a nice boost. The higher up the backer is the better, and now it seems that the most important person in all of AEW has someone special in mind for a big spot.

In recent weeks, vignettes have aired on AEW TV for someone apparently named Hologram, with his debut being announced for next week on the most recent edition of Collision. According to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, the character was “personally devised” by AEW President Tony Khan and is expected to be played by Mexican wrestler Aramis. There is no word on how he will be used in AEW.

AEW knows how to do debuts. Check out some of them over the years:

Opinion: This is something that could go in a few ways but there is potential in what we’ve seen so far. Hopefully everything goes as planned, as there is always the chance that it becomes a big deal. Khan himself being behind the idea should give Hologram a special boost, which is more than a lot of wrestlers can get. AEW has done well with new stars before and hopefully they do it again here.
