CM Punk has taken issue with WWE presenting events in Saudi Arabia multiple times, as well as calling out wrestlers for appearing on the shows. However, this will be the first event where Punk will be employed by WWE at the same time. According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Punk will not be attending the event, as he will be doing commentary for Cage Fury Fighting Championships in Philadelphia on Friday, which will not leave him enough time to be at the show in person.

Punk has been a star in WWE. Check out what he has done since his return:

Opinion: That answers a question for how Punk is going to handle the Saudi Arabia show, though it is something that might be answered later. I’m not surprised that Punk does not want to work the show, but he might not have the choice when he is back to full health. It should be interesting to see how this goes, but Punk pretty clearly does not want to work on thee shows, which does make sense.
