According to Deadline, former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman will appear in Happy Gilmore 2. According to PWInsider.com, Friedman will play Gordie, one of the sons of Happy Gilmore, as portrayed by Adam Sandler. The film is expected to shoot through November, though it is not clear how long Friedman will be away from AEW. He was written off television due to an attack by Daniel Garcia at All Out earlier this month.

Friedman is quite good at what he does. Check out his time in AEW:

Opinion: This should be interesting, but what matters the most is that Friedman has landed some kind of a role. If he wants to do something as an actor, he is going to need to be on film as often as possible, with this being a good spot for him. I have no idea how well it is going to go, but ultimately this is better than nothing, as Friedman is just getting started in his acting career.
