He’s In: Former Champion Makes Surprise Return To Help The Young Bucks At AEW Dynasty

Welcome back. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to be taken away from television. That can make for some interesting moments as you never know when you might see a wrestler come back. Occasionally you will see some hints dropped about a return and that was the case coming into this weekend. Now the return has taken place with quite the impact.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Final Betting Odds For AEW Dynasty 2024; Multiple New Champions Expected

Over the weekend at AEW Dynasty, Jack Perry made a surprise return to help the Young Bucks defeat FTR to win the vacant AEW Tag Team Titles. This was Perry’s first appearance since in AEW since All In in August 2023, where he got in a backstage altercation with CM Punk. The Young Bucks have mentioned Perry in recent weeks, hinting at his return. It is not clear when Perry will return to the ring.

Perry is quite the star. Check out what is back in AEW:

Opinion: I don’t think this is the biggest surprise as Perry’s return had been teased for a few weeks now and it makes sense to pull the trigger on it. Perry is someone who has more interest at the moment than at any other point in his career so good for him for getting to come back. I’m not sure where he goes from here, but at least he is getting to do something which should be rather interesting.
