He’s In: Cody Rhodes Set For Major Guest Starring Role This Week

He’s a guest star. There are all kinds of talented stars on the WWE roster, to the point where the company has had to split them up into different groups. That includes both the main roster and the NXT developmental roster, with some of them occasionally jumping back and forth between the different shows. That is what we will be seeing again this week in a big way.

Over the weekend, WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes teased an appearance this week on NXT. This week on Monday Night Raw, it was confirmed that Rhodes will be appearing on the show. Rhodes had mentioned appearing to talk to his old friend Ethan Page, who had been attacking NXT Champion Trick Williams. There is no word on what Rhodes will do on the show.

Opinion: This is always an interesting way to go and the question now is what Rhodes is going to be doing. He is likely just going to show up and talk with some of the people in NXT, though him getting in the ring is not out of the question. That is the kind of thing Rhodes very well may do and that could make for an interesting show, which is what WWE is trying for here.
