He's In? Former WWE Champion Appears To Turn, Eyes Set On Title Match

To the other side. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster and many of them are presented on a regular basis. Every so often something needs to be done to change them up and it can make for quite the adjustment. One of the biggest can be seeing a wrestler change from good to bad or vice versa and that might have been the case again this week on WWE TV.

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw featured an edition of MizTV with Intercontinental Champion Gunther as the special guest. During the interview, Gunther called Miz a joke, which resulted in Miz fighting back against Gunther and his Imperium teammates. Later in the night, Miz was confirmed for a #1 contenders match next week on Monday Night Raw. This comes as Better Wrestling Experience, by way of Cagesideseats.com, said that WWE had been considering a babyface turn for Miz, possibly involving DIY, who has also been feuding with Imperium.

Opinion: I’m curious to see where this goes, assuming Miz gets the title shot. While Gunther would feel like the dominant force who would have no trouble against Miz, it should be noted that Miz has a history of overcoming the odds and taking out far bigger stars. I’m not sure if that is going to happen in this case, but there is a chance that would could be in for a surprising result.
