He’s gone. There have been all kinds of changes in WWE in recent months and there is nothing to suggest that those changes are going to be ending anytime soon. This comes as the company has new owners, with Endeavor taking over the company earlier this year. As a result, some longtime names have left WWE and now we know some more about what caused him to leave.

Earlier this week, news broke that WWE’s long time head of production Kevin Dunn was leaving the company after more than thirty years. According to PWInsider.com, Dunn decided to retire and was neither fired nor asked to leave. Dunn told WWE of his decision last week and turned down attempts to get him to stay through the Royal Rumble in January and WrestleMania in April. There is no word on who will replace Dunn.

Opinion: It really is amazing to see how many of the long time WWE names are leaving like this, with Dunn being one of the biggest surprises. Dunn has been around for the better part of ever and it is hard to fathom that he won’t be running production anymore. In this case it could lead to some big changes in the way WWE is presented and I’m curious to see just what those changes mean for everyone involved.
