Never ever? There are certain rivalries in WWE that become nearly iconic for how things go throughout their history. This could be due to a huge match or a huge moment, but for one reason or another, a pairing becomes so famous that anything the wrestlers do gets noticed. That is the case with two current WWE stars, but one of them seems to be completely done with the feud.

During a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, WWE’s Cody Rhodes said that he never wanted to wrestle Seth Rollins again. Rhodes said that while he and Rollins are not friends, he understands that Rollins is “super valued” to WWE yet is still undervalued. Rhodes went on to say that he and Rollins can have a competition without ever having to get in the ring with him again. The two have faced off multiple times, including at WrestleMania 38.

Opinion: This does come a bit out of nowhere, but at the same time it does not sound like it is something that comes out of hatred. Rhodes and Rollins had one of the most intense rivalries in recent years in WWE and maybe Rhodes feels like there is nothing left for them to do. What matters is finding something interesting for both of them to do, and maybe that includes the two of them facing each other in the future.
