He's Back: Shawn Michaels Set For Special Appearance Next Week On WWE TV

He’s good in the role. There have been almost countless wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and a good many of them do not make the biggest impact. A small number do manage to become stars though and some of those move on to become some of the biggest names in wrestling history. WWE still manages to have some of them appear from time to time, and that will be the case again next week.

Over the last several weeks, NXT’s Grayson Waller has been having issues with WWE official Shawn Michaels. Waller has constantly berated Michaels and caused him one problem after another. Last week on NXT, Waller issued a challenge for Michaels to meet him on the Grayson Waller Effect at Roadblock on March 7. This week, Michaels said that while he knew Waller would only get worse and that it was against his better judgment, he would appear on the show.

Opinion: I’m not sure what WWE is planning, but they better have someone waiting in the wings to face Waller at Stand & Deliver. Michaels vs. Waller has been teased as much as anything can be and if Michaels isn’t going to wrestle the match himself, anything less than a huge name is going to feel like a letdown. I don’t think Michaels is actually going to get back in the ring, so who exactly does that leave?
