Welcome to the team? AEW already has a huge roster and the company has all kinds of wrestlers coming and going on a fairly regular basis. There are times where wrestlers will pop in on a short term basis and that can make for some exciting moments. This week saw someone pop up after a long time away but it seems like they might be sticking around for a change.

This week’s edition of Dynamite saw W. Morrissey, better known as Big Cass during his time in WWE, returned to the company and attacked the Wingmen. After taking out the team, Morrissey accepted Stokely Hathaway’s business card and left with him. There is no word on how long Morrissey will be in AEW on this run with the company. He previously appeared on the May 4 Dynamite, where he lost to Wardlow.

Opinion: This is the kind of debut that came out of nowhere and I’m not sure I can see where it is going. Morrissey had a Sid kind of energy to him during his recent run in Impact Wrestling and I’m not sure how well it is going to go in AEW. Then again, Morrissey looked like a star as well as a monster this week so maybe there is something to him this time around.

What did you think of Morrissey’s debut? How will be do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
