He’s Back: 51 Year Old Former World Champion Reportedly Returning To WWE For Special Event

He’s a big one. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but only a few of them have stood out in an impressive way. One of the best ways to do this is to have something physically unique, as it will make quite an impression right off the bat. That is the case with a number of wrestlers, but now one of the biggest is making a return for a special appearance.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, the Great Khali is expected to be involved with this week’s Superstar Spectacle event in some way, though his exact role is not yet clear. The show will be taking place in Khali’s home country of India, making one of the few times WWE has run a show in the country. Khali has not wrestled since the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. There is no word on WWE airing the show anywhere on television or streaming.

Opinion: That’s as much of a layup as you can get for WWE, as Khali is the biggest wrestling name from India available for the show. I have no idea if Khali is going to get in the ring, but just having him show up to wave and put the show over should be enough. If WWE wants this to feel like a special event, this is the kind of cameo that they need and it seems that they understand the concept.
