It can be a big deal when someone from days of WWE past appear on a smaller show and that will be the case again soon.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: As Per The Request: Recently Released WWE Star Asked To Be Let Go

ISPW, by way of 411mania, has announced that former WWE Superstar Maven will be returning to the ring for the promotion’s 25th anniversary event on September 29 in Totowa, New Jersey. Maven, 46, will face ring announcer Rich Reed in a tuxedo match after tormenting Reed for the last year. This will be Maven’s second match of the year as he has dabbled in independent wrestling since returning to the ring in 2021.

Maven had a nice run in WWE. Check out some of his time in the company:

Opinion: It’s always cool to see someone getting back in the ring after they were known in a previous generation. Maven was never a top WWE star but he is someone who is capable of getting some attention. That is something that can draw in a bigger audience for the promotion, especially with Maven’s recent YouTube videos, which have gotten him more eyes than at any point in the last few years.

What did you think of Maven’s time in WWE? What was his best time in the company? Let us know in the comments below.
