He’s gone? There are all kinds of people who work together to make a wrestling show a success and some of them are very rarely on camera. It can make a big difference to have the right people in the right roles as they can go a long way towards guiding fans in the direction the promotion wants. Now though, one of the more prominent names is going to be away from his location.

According to PWInsider.com, commentator Kevin Kelly has been removed from the AEW website. This comes after Kelly seemingly accused fellow commentator Ian Riccaboni of making libel statements about him. Kelly also suggested that he was being “pushed aside” in his role as a commentator. There is no word on who, if anyone, will be replacing Kelly in his role. AEW has not made an announcement about Kelly.

AEW has quite the lineup of broadcasters. Check some of their options:
Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on here, but making those kinds of statements are not exactly going to put your future employment options in a good place. At the end of the day, AEW has quite the set of options for commentary and cutting out Kelly is only going to cut one name off a rather nice list. I’m not sure what that is going to mean going forward, but for now it does not seem to be great for Kelly.
