He's In: 25 Year WWE Veteran Officially Jumps To AEW

These people come together behind the scenes in a variety of roles, several of which have little to do with the wrestling itself. Now someone has jumped from one of the biggest promotions to the other.

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE Vice President Of Communications Adam Hopkins has been hired by AEW. Hopkins left WWE earlier this year after being with the company since 1997. His current role in AEW is not know, but he is believed to be working in the public relations department. There is no word on why he left WWE after twenty five years with the company.

Opinion: This is one of those changes that might not feel like anything big on the surface but having someone who has been doing something for that long in WWE leave is quite the departure. I’m not sure how much of a difference Hopkins is going to make in AEW but that is the kind of veteran experience that can be very valuable. That is something AEW can use and maybe it could make a difference.
