It’s time to keep going. I don’t think it’s that much of a secret that the shows WWE ran in Saudi Arabia in 2018, especially Crown Jewel, weren’t the most popular or well received shows in the world. Ignoring the international political issues involved in the whole situation, the shows just weren’t all that entertaining. Well now we know when the streak has a chance to continue.

According to Fightful.com, the third WWE show in Saudi Arabia will take place on May 3, 2019 in a city to be announced. There are currently no other details available, such as a name for the show. WWE ran two events there in 2018, including the Greatest Royal Rumble in April and Crown Jewel in November. The shows were part of a ten year agreement between WWE and the Saudi Arabian government.

Opinion: There really isn’t a way around these shows. They aren’t very entertaining and they run very long, normally with matches and stories that are mostly disconnected from the top events in WWE. Some major stars don’t want to go, with John Cena and Daniel Bryan refusing to work Crown Jewel. Things might get better going forward, but at the same time they might get even worse.
