Maybe not. There are certain wrestlers who have become all time legends and are often brought back by a promotion long after their time in the ring has come to an end. You will often see WWE use such names to help promote a show as they can offer the fans a feeling of familiarity. However, that is not going to be the case with a planned return for a show this weekend.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WWE Considering Big Showdown For WrestleMania 41
Hulk Hogan had previously been planned to appear at this weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, originally reported by Chris Featherstone and later reported by F4WOnline.com, Hogan will not be appearing at the show due to family commitments. PWInsider.com is reporting that Hogan’s son Nick will be getting married over the weekend, forcing him to miss the show. This comes after Hulk was loudly booed during his appearance on the January 6 Monday Night Raw.

Hulk has quite the legacy. Check out his time on Saturday Night’s Main Event:
Opinion: This isn’t exactly a surprise, as ultimately Hulk had quite the negative reaction when he showed up earlier this month. As big of a legend as he is, WWE is not going to want to risk that being what is seen on a nationally televised special. It wouldn’t stun me if Hulk did not appear on WWE TV again for a very long time if not ever, and now it might be little more than his legacy remaining.
What do you think of the change? Should WWE use Hulk in the future? Let us know in the comments below.
