Meet the new cast. WWE is in a weird period of transition here as they are trying to shake up everything, including behind the scenes. Several roles in the WWE Talent Relationship department has been swapped around in recent weeks and it turns out that there might be some bigger plans in place behind the scenes. We might be in for a major change in WWE and it is happening in front of our eyes.

According to PWInsider.com, the changes behind the scenes at WWE are the work of new company President Nick Khan, who has been given free reign to change the company as he chooses to. Khan is bringing in several people from the CAA agency, where he previously worked. The idea is to bring in people who can transform WWE into something more mainstream, which will allow them to be more appealing to other industries.

Khan is being allowed to change the company like no one ever has before and all with Vince McMahon’s blessing. This comes after Khan successfully negotiated WWE’s latest streaming deal with Peacock, which brought the company to a new audience on a different stage. The plan is to have as many of Khan’s people in charge, as that way any credit can go to him, though it also means that any failures are on the new team as well.

Opinion: This is an interesting change and I’m rather curious to see how things go. At the end of the day, the Peacock deal might not have been great for the fans but it certainly did something for the company, which is what matters to them at the end of the day. I’m curious to see where all of these changes go, but I’m also scared to see how they fall out, as it could be a rather corporate world going forward.

The more of these moves that I see, the more curious I am about WWE possibly being sold sooner rather than later. McMahon is not going to be around forever and if you are WWE, why not make billions of dollars and let someone else handle the heavy lifting? As much as I would like to see WWE staying in charge, it makes all the sense in the world to sell the thing soon, so why not see what they can do with it?

What do you think of the changes? Where do you see them going? Let us know in the comments below.
