I’m not sure if that makes it any better. NXT has come a long way in just a few years but there are still some problems that need to be addressed. One of the biggest issues has been the way that some of the called up wrestlers are presented on the main roster. While there are some success stories, there are also several instances of wrestlers just not clicking when the move up. That seems to be going on again.
Shayna Baszler is one of the more interesting cases in WWE at the moment, as she came up to the main roster, smashed her way through the Monday Night Raw women’s division, lost to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36 and then more or less disappeared. That is a weird way to go but now we know where she has been. However, it doesn’t look all that great for her future.
According to Fightful Select, Baszler has not been used as of late because she has not been booked to appear on Monday Night Raw. Baszler is not injured and does not have any backstage problems, nor is she having any issues related to the Coronavirus. There is no word on why WWE has not been using her. Baszler’s most recent match took place on the May 18 Monday Night Raw when she defeated Natalya in a submission match.
Baszler can do a lot in the ring. Check out some of her better matches:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by this whatsoever as Baszler is not the kind of wrestler that WWE likes to push. She may not have the most charisma but she is very good at being the more silent yet deadly villain. It is a case where something worked well in NXT but not working so well on the main roster. That happens way too often, and it certainly does not seem to be due to a lack of talent. Hopefully she gets her chance, because she really can be that good.
