Here He Comes? WWE Seemingly Drops References To Brock Lesnar On Monday Night Raw

Beast Mode? There are certain stars in professional wrestling who make an impact no matter what they are doing. They have something about them that makes them stand out and their presence alone is going to get the fans’ attention. It can be a big deal when one of them shows up after a long time away, and now we might be seeing one of them after quite the absence.

Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE TV since Summerslam 2023. Lesnar took a hiatus after the show and was planned to return, only to be connected to the Vince McMahon sexual assault lawsuit. As a result, WWE did not bring him back and it was not clear when or if they would do so. However, this week’s Monday Night Raw featured two references to Lesnar, with both Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes making references to facing Lesnar in the past. This week’s show was taped, meaning such references could be edited out if WWE wanted to do so. There is no word on any potential Lesnar return.

Opinion: While it does seem that there are hints that Lesnar could be coming back, it’s hard for me to fathom it actually happening. At the end of the day, Lesnar is accused of being attached to something absolutely horrible, and while he isn’t the main person, he’s close enough that the fans might not approve. That is a heck of a risk or what might not be a great payoff, but maybe it never happens anyway.
