Some Of Both: Health Update On Missing AEW Star

It could be a bit. There are all kinds of injuries that can keep a wrestler out of the ring and some of them can be quite severe. You never know when a wrestler is going to be put on the shelf for a very long time and it can lead to a variety of problems. A current AEW star has been on the shelf for well over a year now and we are finally getting an update on his condition, though it isn’t a great one.

AEW’s Kyle O’Relly has been out of action since June 2022 after undergoing neck surgery in September of the same year. During a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, Adam Cole provided an update on O’Reilly, revealing that O’Reilly is continuing to work towards a return to the ring. Cole made it clear that O’Reilly, 36 years old, had no timetable for when he could be able to resume wrestling.

O’Reilly is pretty awesome when he is around. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: That is both encouraging and discouraging at the same time, as O’Reilly is trying to return to the ring but it does not seem like it is going to be happening anytime soon. He is far too talented of a star to spend this much of his prime wrestling years on the shelf, but there isn’t much else that can be done. Hopefully he is back in the ring sooner than later, as you never want to see someone gone that long.
