He doesn’t think so. Earlier this year, WWE got a huge boost of star power as the Rock returned to the company in his most active role in several years. Not only is he scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania 40 but he is also appearing on multiple SmackDowns. Rock is also releasing promos on social media, though they are not quite the same as you would see on television. This has led to some controversy, and now the Rock is weighing in on them.

Earlier this month, a report emerged saying that there were some who were upset at being told to only use PG language while the Rock was allowed to use more harsh language. This was followed by Cody Rhodes using harsher language in his promo on Monday Night Raw. The Rock responded to a tweet about the story, saying “this is complete horses***”. He’s had a lot to say. Check out what the Rock has been talking about recently:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can make for some interesting stories, as the Rock being part of the TKO Board of Directors does put him in a bit of a different position. It makes sense that he is going to be able to do something different as he is on quite a different level than the rest of the roster. If nothing else, it has made Rock’s promos feel more unique compared to the roster, which is kind of the point.
What do you think of the response? How have Rock’s promos been since he returned? Let us know in the comments below.
