Yeah that’s different. Earlier this year, WWE underwent the biggest shakeup the company has ever seen as Vince McMahon stepped down from his leadership position following a string of allegations against him. This led to a variety of changes throughout the promotion and now we know of a few more, with these coming away from the actual in-ring product itself.

SmackDown broadcaster Corey Graves was interviewed by Wrestle Binge this week and spoke about the differences now that McMahon is gone. Graves said that the biggest change has been the amount of creative freedom the talent is now granted. This includes commentary no longer being micromanaged, as while there are still guidelines, Graves said that it is no longer a stream of consciousness being given to them.

Opinion: This is great to hear as there have been all kinds of problems with McMahon micromanaging WWE over the years. While there has to be a general idea in place, having one person’s voice coming through over and over is not going to help anyone in WWE and that seems to be understood. You can tell the difference since McMahon has been gone and hopefully the new atmosphere continues to thrive.
