Down for now. There are all kinds of ways for wrestlers to be injured and put on the shelf. Those can come in many forms and the question becomes how long someone will be out of action. Occasionally WWE will mention these things on television for an explanation of a wrestler’s absence and that is what they have done again as a SmackDown star is going to be missing for a bit.

According to Fightful Select, SmackDown star Luke Gallows is out of action with a knee injury. Gallows had his knee scoped and is expected to miss six weeks of action. It is not clear when Gallows suffered the injury or how what kind of injury he has. Gallows has not wrestled a match since a live event on August 20 and has not appeared on SmackDown in recent weeks.

Gallows can be a very talented big man. Check out what he can do:

Opinion: That is never something you want to hear and it is a shame that Gallows has to be out of action for such a long time. The OC has not gotten to do much in the ring since their return and now it seems that we are going to be waiting even longer for them to make an impact. Hopefully Gallows is back soon and better than he has been in a bit, which should be interesting.
