He Has Options: Details On Cameron Grimes’ WWE Release, Several Surprised

Him? Multiple wrestlers have been released from WWE in the last week and some of them were not the biggest surprises. Wrestlers who had not been used very often were let go, but that was not the case with everyone. There was at least one release who took various people by surprise and it turns out that it was not just the fans who were surprised that he was let go.

Earlier this week, Cameron Grimes announced that he had been released from his WWE contract, making him the seventh name to be let go. According to Fightful Select, Grimes’ release surprised many in WWE, as he was seen at a higher level than some of the other released wrestlers. Grimes had not been used on television very often recently, but he had been backstage at the shows. Grimes is expected to receive several independent bookings when he is able to return to the ring.

Opinion: Grimes being released was quite the surprise as I wasn’t expecting him to go. At the end of the day, he really did feel like someone who was a step ahead of a good many of the released wrestlers. I’m sure a variety of promotions would be interested in bringing him in and it wouldn’t stun me to see him on a regular televised show almost as soon as he is allowed to be there.
