Maybe it’s an improvement. Wrestlers have to have the right character to really get things working properly. Having the wrong situation or character can be quite a mess and that has been the case more than ones in WWE. Sometimes things just do not work out and a change is needed. That seems to be the case again, as we might be seting someone back in a characte that worked for them before.

According to WrestleZone, WWE has applied for a trademark for “The Goddess”. While not confirmed, this could mean a return to Alexa Bliss’ old character, as she was nicknamed the Goddess earlier in her in-ring career. Bliss has not ysed the character since becoming assoicated with the Fiend, though she has been undergoing therapy to return back to her former self. There is no word on when the change could take place or if it will be done whatsoever.

Bliss has been part of the WWE main roster since 2016 and has spent most of her career as a wrestler. Since debuting on the main roster, Bliss is a three time Raw Women’s Champion, a two time SmackDown Women’s Champion and a two time Women’s Tag Team Champion. At the Horror Show At Extreme Rules in 2020, Bliss became associated with the Fiend and has shown supernatural powers since.

Opinion: This is something that is long overdue, as the Goddess was a perfectly acceptable character and worked just fine. The supernatural stuff feels a bit played out though and it would be nice to see her change things up a bit. Bliss is someone with a long resume in WWE and I’m not sure why she needed to be given such an over the top gimmick. Let her wrestle or manage on her own and things should be more than enough.

What do you think of Bliss? What kind of character should she have? Let us know in the comments below.
