I’m on the edge of my couch. If there is one thing that I have learned in recent years as a wrestling fan, it is to never say never. There are certain things that we as fans write off as never being possible and yet somehow they wind up happening. Daniel Bryan walked that aisle again and AEW seems to be offering a mainstream alternative to WWE. Now though, we might have another entry on the list.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been internal talk of Edge returning to the ring at some point in the future. This is contingent on Edge being able to receive medical clearance to be able to wrestle again. Edge has not wrestled since being forced to retire due to a neck injury. Should Edge return, there is no word on what he would be doing or who he would be facing.

Edge showed a sign that he still has it. Check out him getting physical in his hometown:

Opinion: This is firmly in the I’ll Believe It When I See It category as I can barely imagine Edge being able to do anything physical anytime soon. The Bryan situation seemed to be a one in a million shot and while I can kind of picture this happening, it wouldn’t be more than a one or two off situation. Edge returning would certainly be a draw, but I just can’t picture the whole thing actually working out.

Do you think Edge will be back? Who do you want to see him face? Let us know in the comments below.
