He’s done. Retirement in wrestling is a tricky concept, as wrestler can always come back for one more match or run with a promotion, which makes it difficult to walk away for good. Wrestlers often announce their retirement and come back later, though for now, another wrestler is hanging his boots up after fifteen years in the ring as he officially wraps up his career.

Former NXT UK star Eddie Dennis has announced that he is ending his career after fifteen years in the ring. Dennis announced his retirement on Twitter following the Rev Pro Revolution Rumble event over the weekend. While Dennis did not give a reason for his retirement, he did promise additional information on Monday. Dennis, 36, wrestled for NXT UK, Rev Pro Wrestling and Progress Wrestling during his career.

Opinion: This is the kind of retirement that comes out of nowhere and hopefully gives you the feeling of “oh I always liked him”. Dennis was a taller guy whose size made him stand out in NXT UK. What matters here is that he seems to be happy and healthy about leaving so hopefully he gets to move on to whatever else he wants to do with his life now that his career is over.
