Two for one. There are all kinds of titles under the WWE banner and some of them are more important than others. You will see some titles changing hands out of nowhere but they can still be a big deal no matter what they are doing. That was the case this week in a big way, as two title changes took place on the same night, including in the show’s main event.

This week’s NXT featured a pair of title changes. First up, Charlie Dempsey regained the Heritage Cup by defeating Tony D’Angelo with an assist from Wren Sinclair. Later, in the show’s main event, Chase U (Andre Chase and Ridge Holland) won the Tag Team Titles from Axiom and Nathan Frazier. This is Chase U’s second title reign, with the first reign seeing Chase and Duke Hudson as champions. North American Champion Oba Femi also retained his title over Otis.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you see take place in wrestling ever so often and it is still a huge moment. Having any title change hands makes for a big deal and having it happen twice in a single night makes it even bigger. That was the case here, with the Heritage Cup win being a big enough deal but the Tag Team Title change being an actual special moment. That’s something that takes some planning and NXT made it work here.
