That should clear things up a little bit. Wrestlers are creatures of habit who do all kinds of things in addition to just getting in the ring. This includes personal appearances, autograph signings, training, traveling and all kinds of other things. At the end of the day though, they have to get in the ring and that is what matters more than anything else. Therefore, it is a little bit much to ask a wrestler to travel to the other side of the world and wrestle twice in a night, which WWE has seemed to realize.

In a new video posted to WWE’s YouTube page, WWE has announced that Universal Champion Seth Rollins will no longer be wrestling twice at the Crown Jewel event later this month. Rollins had been announced as both defending the Universal Title against Bray Wyatt in a Falls Count Anywhere match as well as being the captain of Team Hogan in a ten man tag match against Team Flair. As of Thursday, Rollins is out of the ten man tag match and will be replaced by someone to be named later. Crown Jewel takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31.

There is a bit more in the announcement. Check out WWE’s video:

Opinion: This is the only sane option that they have as Rollins is already going to be jet lagged from flying all the way to Saudi Arabia so having his workload cut in half that night is a good idea. Rollins is already someone who is not the most popular star in the world at the moment so it might not be the smartest move in the world to have him out there twice in one night. Switching things up like this makes sense and maybe they can get someone else on the card who could use the spotlight.

Who do you want to see take Rollins’ place? Is this the right move? Let us know in the comments below.
