Guest Star: WWE Superstar Set For Special Match In Outside Promotion

Crossover? WWE has all kinds of talented stars on its roster but they rarely are allowed to wrestle elsewhere. It can be a huge deal when WWE crosses over with another promotion, though WWE has been opening up a bit more in recent years. That has led to some occasional appearances in other promotions and now we are set to see that take place again.

The new Marigold promotion has announced that WWE’s Iyo Sky will be wrestling for the promotion, facing Utami Hayashishita in a match billed as Queen Of Queen. The match will take place on July 13 in Ryogoku, Japan. There is no word on if the two promotions will be working together again going forward, though Giulia, who has signed with WWE, will be working for Marigold in the future.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you do not get to see very often and that makes it special. Sky gets to do a unique match, but it also helps Marigold as it will have its fans wondering who else might show up. I’m not sure I can imagine WWE having a regular working relationship with Marigold, but I can picture the two of them doing something like this from time to time.
