That’s a relief. The Coronavirus pandemic has shaken up the wrestling world for over a year now and that is going to continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. Above all else, the most important thing is the health of everyone involved, which can be made worse in a hurry. There was another Coronavirus outbreak in a major wrestling promotion recently but things might be settling back down.
Last week, NXT suffered yet another Coronavirus outbreak, which shook up all kinds of things around the promotion. This included several names being quarantined, which dramatically changed the structure of last week’s television show. This week’s show was a little more back to normal, but what matters most is the health of everyone involved. Now we know a bit more about what is going on.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, everyone who was absent from last week’s NXT taping due to the Coronavirus outbreak was back at this week’s taping. This includes Triple H, who was back to run the taping. There is no word on anyone who was positively diagnosed, though Charlotte did announce a positive diagnosis earlier this week. It is not clear if this was part of the outbreak.
This week’s show was a bit better. Check out how it wound up going with everyone back:
Opinion: This is some great news as the wrestlers’ and workers health are the most important things anywhere. Hopefully everyone is able to stay healthy with no long term issues, as the Coronavirus is the kind of thing that can be rather hard to deal with. I’m not sure how many changes this is going to cause for the promotion, but it seems that things were just off for a week instead of a long time.
