I’d call it an improvement. Every now and then, a major injury takes place on a live wrestling show and it is nothing short of horrifying. There is nothing that can be done and someone is going to be out of action for a very long time. All that leaves you to do is wait and hope to hear good news, which thankfully is the case again with one of the worse injuries you will see in modern wrestling.
Last week on SmackDown, Big E. suffered a broken neck when he landed on his head on the floor. He has since offered an update, saying that he has fractured vertebrae and will not have to undergo surgery. This week, Big E. offered another update via Twitter, announcing that he is already out of the hospital and back at his home. There is no word on when Big E. could return to the ring.
Appreciate you, man. I’m actually home now but Birmingham took good care of me.

Opinion: The fact that Big E. is both at home and able to tweet is a great sign, as he can still use his arms. That is one of the scary prospects of a serious neck injury and Big E. seems to have made it through the worst. I’m not sure when or if he will make it back into the ring, but at least things seem to be going about as well as can be expected so far. It will be nice to see more positive updates like this, so hopefully he keeps them coming.
