That could be worse. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and unfortunately you never know how long they are going to keep someone out of action. An injury can take place at any time and one of the worst parts is wondering how severe they might be. We saw a similar situation a few weeks back but now things already seem to be back to normal in a rather quick turnaround.

On the January 31 edition of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow defeated Komander but seemed to injure his leg or knee in the process. Following the match, Wardlow said that everything was ok and his knee was fine. This week on Dynamite, Wardlow returned to the ring and defeated Barrett Brown, meaning his knee has been medically cleared. There is no word on what kind of damage his knee suffered in the first place.

Opinion: That is great to see as you never want someone to be on the shelf with any kind of an injury. It’s nice to see that Wardlow seemed to be accurate in what he said about his status as you never know how realistic something like that might be. Wardlow is quite the beast and someone who can be treated as a force in AEW if used right, which he certainly can’t do if he is injured.
