Good And Bad? NXT Officials Reportedly "Frustrated" After Roadblock Title Match

There’s a problem with that. WWE has three different main television shows every week and for the most part, they have their own continuity. The shows do not often cross over but it can be a big deal when it actually happens. One of the most common ways it happens is with titles, which was the case last week. However, it didn’t quite go as well as expected.

This week’s NXT featured a Women’s Tag Team Title match as the Kabuki Wariors made a special appearances to successfully defend their titles against Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley. According to Fightful Select, while NXT officials were happy to have the Kabuki Warriors available, they were frustrated that the team was already set for a title defense the following week on Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that should make for a good match but I can see NXT’s issues with the next match already being made. While there is only so much drama in Valkyria and Paxley getting a title shot, WWE didn’t exactly do much to help the match. The match wound up going well, and hopefully the Warriors can get to move on having another solid title defense next week.
