They have a plan. AEW has been undergoing a variety of changes in recent weeks and the biggest change seems to be on the horizon. With AEW Collision likely debuting in June and with a CM Punk return rumored, there have also been stories of a potential roster split, though nothing has been confirmed. Now we have some more details of what might be happening between the two shows.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the roster split would not be the most rigid. Wrestlers who appear on Collision could still appear on Dynamite when needed and vice versa. In addition, the women’s division is not expected to be split, as AEW does not feel that there is enough star power for two rosters. Finally, Rampage is expected to become closer to Dark and Dark: Elevation, a show designed to showcase up and coming stars.

There are some talented people in AEW. Check out who will be on the shows:

Opinion: I’m still not sure why the AEW shows need to split, but one of the interesting things here is the idea of Rampage being similar to Dark or Dark: Elevation. Those shows weren’t exactly must see television and I can’t imagine that will change much if they are called Rampage. Either way, AEW TV is going to look very different in the near future and that could change quite a few things.
