There’s your shakeup. The WWE Draft is one of the biggest events of the year as everything can change in the course of two nights. That is the kind of thing you do not get to see very often but sometimes it is one of the most important things that you can see. It leaves fans wondering what they might be seeing, and WWE did not waste any time with the changes in this year’s edition.
The first round of the 2021 WWE Draft saw Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte being moved over to SmackDown. It is not clear what will happen to the title, as SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch remains on SmackDown. Charlotte is a record five time SmackDown Women’s Champion, having most recently held the title in 2019. The roster moves will not be put into effect until the October 22 edition of SmackDown.
Charlotte has worn blue before. Check out some of her time on SmackDown:
Opinion: This is something that should do a lot of good, as Charlotte has dominated Monday Night Raw’s women’s division for a good while now. That being said, the problem with Charlotte is that she is running out of people to face. Moving her to SmackDown will help that out for the time being, but WWE is going to need to find something fresh for her to do sooner rather than later.
What do you think of the move? How will this change the title situation? Let us know in the comments below.
