I guess he could miss? WWE has a lot of talented wrestlers on their main roster but they need to regularly change things up to keep fresh blood flowing. That is easier said than done in some cases but their developmental program helps things out quite a bit. Every so often, WWE finds what seems to be a can’t miss prospect but that is certainly not a guarantee. That may be what is happening again.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson’s WWE training has not been going well and everything about him is said to be “cold”. Steveson was expected to debut on television a good while ago but he has only made cameo appearances with no impact. There is no word on when Steveson will be appearing on the main roster again. Steveson signed with WWE in 2021 and was drafted to Monday Night Raw that same year.

Opinion: While it is far too early to call Steveson a bust, it isn’t a good sign when he is taking this much time to even start to pick things up. While his amateur resume is an all timer, that does not mean he is going to jump straight into the professional ranks with ease. The good thing is that he hasn’t had a match on TV yet and can be seasoned up a lot more before he gets there, but now the question is when will that actually happen.

What do you think of Steveson? When will he make his in-ring debut? Let us know in the comments below.
