On the mend? Injuries can wreck any wrestler at any time, with some injuries taking them out of action for a very good while. You never know when someone is going to have to take time away from the ring, no matter what they are doing. That is always horrible to see but there is something great to see when they make a return. Now we might be seeing something similar down the line.

Kyle O’Reilly has been out of action since June 2022 due to a neck injury, which resulted in O’Reilly undergoing neck fusion surgery in September 2022. According to Fightful Select, O’Reilly has been backstage at recent AEW events and could be preparing for a return to television. There is currently no word on when he will be able to return to the ring or what role he might be playing when he does return.
O’Reilly has done some very good things in AEW. Check out his time in the company:
Opinion: That is nice to see and what matters most is O’Reilly appears to be getting ready for a return to AEW. It has been rough to have him away from AEW for so long but at the end of the day, his health is what matters most. It is good to see him staying away from the ring long enough to heal up and hopefully he is able to get back to the ring safely and be as good as he is capable of being.
