That’s not too long. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to be knocked out of action, with wrestling being some of the most common. Injuries can cause all kinds of issues, with wrestlers and fans having to wait to see when someone gets back in the ring. That is the case with one of the biggest stars in WWE history, who is on the way back after a long time away from the ring.

Rey Mysterio has been out of action since November as he recovers from knee surgery. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mysterio is likely returning to the ring in “a few weeks” though no specific date was given. WWE had hoped that Mysterio would be able to return at the Royal Ruble last month though he did not appear. Mysterio had been feuding with Santos Escobar before he was forced out of action.

You might remember him. Check out Mysterio’s efforts in WWE:

Opinion: That is great to hear as Mysterio is one of the most important stars in WWE and it will be nice to see him getting back in the ring. Despite being in his late 40s, Mysterio has been doing some rather impressive things in the ring. The feud with Escobar seems ready to continue as soon as Mysterio gets back, which should make for a good way to get Mysterio into the swing of things again.

What do you think of Mysterio? How will his return go? Let us know in the comments below.
