He Gets In: The Rock Talks Returning To WWE As A Heel, Why It Works

He’s rather good. There have been quite a few changes to WWE this year and one of the biggest has been the return of the Rock. After teasing a match against Roman Reigns, Rock has turned heel for the first time in many years, with television audiences rising for his segments. The fans seem to approve of it, and now we know what he thinks about the whole thing.

The Rock appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and discussed his return to WWE. He talked about his recent heel turn and brought up some of the things that he has been saying to the crowd. Rock talked about how much fun it was that he was able to come back to WWE as “Rock 10.0”, which allowed him to say what the people have been wanting to say. He is currently scheduled to team with Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes on the first night of WrestleMania 40 on April 6.

Opinion: Can you blame him for having this much fun? The Rock is on a roll again as his heel character is nailing it again, just as he had done for years over the course of his career. It is something he does rather well and it is fascinating to see him getting back out there and making his old stuff work one more time. It is certainly working better for him than his previous efforts so why mix it up?
